Bought a Gear S and tried to pair it to my Samsung Tab S 10.5 tablet without any luck. I did some research and found many threads here on forcing the Gear S to work with a tablet but the instructions are beyond my talents.
Question; Is there any smart watch that will pair with a Samsung tablet? Do all smart watches require a phone? Are there any true wifi smart watches (Gear S claims wifi but you must be paired to use it.)
What I want is a smart watch that will either pair with my tablet or a smart watch that will do it all via wifi and not need to pair.
PS: Any techs near me in Iowa that could do the pairing hack to my tablet I would be very happy to pay for such a service.
