Factory resetting phone - what to do about S2?

The battery life is very poor on my Galaxy Note 3 so I'm planning to factory reset it. I've done this a couple of times so I know what to do on the phone. I am new to the S2 though so I'm not sure what effect it will have on the watch. Please could someone tell me what, if anything, I need to do on the watch or phone to ensure that it runs as it does now?
