Downgrade back to lollipop (HELP)

Is it safe to downgrade back to lollipop from marshmallow ? I have the file file for lollipop but im unsure if i should flash it like that straight from odin or is their a process I have to do (Galaxy s6 edge 6.0.1) Thanks in advance .
