s5 connecting to pc problem

Search for a few hours and still no working solution. Each time i connect the s5 the the pc i can hear it connected but still im getting a message saying " USB device not recognized ". i uninstalled all samsung drivers then i reinstall a new set from their website and still having the same problem. Would appreciate any help
