Hey guys.. i have a SM-T315T and it recently went kit kat.. ( wish i hadnt) massive issues with sd card inserted and huge battery drain even after obvious steps.. so i want to root my deivce as i have read that the kitkat update causes havoc with issues and lower drain blah blah blah all of which im experiencing .. ( before update easily 6 days life sitting idle, with update less than 18 hours.. huge drain with sd card inserted)
Anyway this is besides the point.. i wanna clear the bulkware and get the most out of the little amount of power this tablet has. And after plenty of research i found my current build number ( KOT49H.T315TDVUBOL) almost zero presence online understandably as its not exaclty new.. from what i have read if i can roll back to 4.2.2. Build number ( JDQ39.T315TDVUAMK5) i can work my way from there and root and be happy via odin.. no stress..
But heres my problem.. how the bloody hell do i get it back to that? Is there a way i can flash old droid rom without bricking? My ultimate goal is to roll back ,root and enjoy what little power this freebie has.. but i cant find anything online i understand.
Any assistance at all would be great appreciated, cus this SD card constantly indexing and draining my vitals is really ticking me off
TIA
Cal
