Google Home Learns a New Language as It Heads over to France

Google has slowly but surely been expanding Google Home to more and more markets since the product's initial release last October. Earlier this year we saw Home get released in the United Kingdom and Canada, and following those two countries is now France.

The French version of Google Home will come equipped with the majority of the features that Google Home units in the United States have, but newer additions such as multi-user support might not be ready to primetime quite yet.

Along with its debut in France, this also means that the Google Assistant on Google Home can now speak French. While obviously being a benefit to anyone buying the Google Home in France, this is also a nice touch for Canadian customers who speak the Language of Love as well.

You can purchase Google Home in France starting August 3rd for €149 (or just under $170 USD), and although that is a bit pricier than what the speaker costs here in the US, it's still great to see that more countries are finally getting their hands on the thing.
