A friend recently gave me his old Nexus 6 because he destroyed the screen. I got a new one, replaced the old and all was well. However, because I can never leave well enough alone, after a few weeks I decided to swap the frame out with a white one because the original had scuffs on it (plus, it was midnight blue. Eh.) The frame I received seemed perfect, but when I assembled everything, the camera would not connect. Not the front or rear. The flashlight worked, until I'd try to open any camera app. I switched back to old frame, and camera worked fine. Back to white frame, nothing. I did this over and over trying to figure it out but finally just gave up. I sent the write frame back then reassembled the phone with the original frame. Now I'm having the same problem with the old frame! I don't get it. I'm sure its not software as I've tried every rom (stock and custom) ever made for this phone with every version of Android back to 5.0 just to test.
Anyone have any ideas what could be going on with this thing? Thank you!
