A friend of mine recently came up with a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 10.1 SM-T530 with charging issues.
The Tab itself was in an almost new condition, even the USB-Connector was without damages.
I checked the battery, all seems ok with it, but after re- and unplugging the battery several times the behaviour of the tablet becomes even worse, no
charging was possible at all, and it claims about low battery temperature.
I investigated the battery connector on the mainboard and noticed some minor cracks in the solder joints (see picture).
After resoldering everything was fine again.
Unfortunately I am not yet able to post outside links, so for pictures of the connector replace the XX with tt in the following links:
