Nouveau is not compatible 'enough' with most cards. It always has an issue or two with each particular card. Not to mention people with dual video cards, it is pain in the a** for them!
So here is what I want to say, what if some developers used the Nvidia proprietary driver .run file, extracted it and managed to make it work on Remix OS? Remix is based on Android which is in return based on Linux kernel and drivers that work on one of those should work on the other by some way.
In case this is impossible due to many incompatibilities like Remix OS not using Xorg and other differences between it and normal Linux, what about signing a petition and sending it to Nvidia asking them to provide a driver for Remix OS with help of Remix OS developers?
