S7 Edge sidebar clone for other phones?

Is anywhere an app that doesn't require root and it is compatible with Android MM that "emulates" the sidebar that is active on the S6 and S7 Edge, you know the little white thingy that's on top and it opens up when you swipe to left and it shows you either people, and onanother swipe a list of commonly used/pre-configured apps? Or am I missing it amongst all the apps that are available on XDA and Play Store? :).

I would like the app to approach to the original feature as close as possible, if that's even achievable.
